Reggie joins The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in honoring Fats Domino

Reggie will be reuniting with other surviving members of The Fats Domino Orchestra for two special Jazz Fest shows honoring and celebrating Fats Domino's life and immeasurable contribution to modern music.
Thursday, April 26 - The 20th Annual Jazz & Heritage Gala
Reggie will be performing with an all-star Fats Domino tribute band featuring Troy "Trombone Shorty” Andrews, along with some of Reggie's long-time musical compatriots like The Soul Queen of New Orleans, Irma Thomas, Deacon John, Davell Crawford, and the Fats Domino Orchestra. PJ Morton and DJ Soul Sister will also perform for the gala.
Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Don Jamison Heritage School of Music, the free education program of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation.
Saturday, April 28 -The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Fats Domino Tribute
Joining Reggie and The Fats Domino Orchestra will be another progenitor of rock and roll piano, Jerry Lee Lewis.

Reggie will be playing solo for a private reception kicking of the 75th Anniversary of . However, following the reception, the IFCC will open to the public for two staged readings of one-act plays about the American dream, displacement, and Hurricane Katrina. The Vanport Mosaic Festival. The Vanport Mosaic Festival is a four-day exploration of the history and legacy of Vanport, Oregon's second largest city, wiped out by a flood in 1948.
Through theater, documentaries, historic exhibit, lectures, and tours the festival honors the experience of those who lived there.
To honor the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the city of Vanport, this year’s festival aims to engage Portlanders in an exploration of community histories around the themes of home, housing, migration, and displacement.
